Live in care for hospital discharge

An interesting article in the Guardian yesterday (link below) highlighting the positive experiences of people who have needed hospital admission over the last few months. However, the issues around discharge and follow on support (that existed long before Covid-19) remain.

If you need some help and advice with getting a loved one home from hospital, then please get in touch. Quite often a hospital admission can be the tipping point from someone managing independently, to the requiring support to maintain that independence.

For those with greater needs, a care home is often the default choice but live-in care can be more cost-effective and less-stressful for families and their loved ones. The comfort and familiarity of home along with one-to-one care can significantly improve quality of life.

For an honest, un-pressured conversation about options for care, give me a call.

Thanks and take care,

Leigh
